I adore these booties! They look and feel nice on. IMHO, they are definitely more for casual wear, despite the amulets around the ankle — which I hope remain on? (They do appear to be attached rather than glued on.) Overall, they are worth the purchase.

Super cute ankle boot. Good, Steve Madden quality, but limited/no arch support so may be a problem for long-day usage without sole inserts. Love them just the same.

I haven’t had a chance to wear these out yet, but I really like the way the look on! Wearing them around the house they felt comfortable and true to size, and the chunky heel provides good stability for those who are clumsy ;). I also like that the ankle jewels are removable so it’s really like 2 pairs of boots in 1!

Finally for once I fit my normal size in a pair of Steve Maddens! Usually I have to size up at least a whole size but this pair I would stick with your normal size. I maybe could’ve went down a half size if I wanted a tighter fit. But I like how they fit, not to sloppy, not too snug. I like the fact you can remove the amulet band and just have a plain chunky boot for an even more casual look. So happy with these!

These are sooo cute but SO uncomfortable…more that usual for Steve Madden. The footbed is rock solid and the arch is angled very oddly. Not worth more than $20. I’m so sad I have to return these. 🙁

I guess these shoes are very popular and they are being mass produced and the quality control on them aren’t great ordered them several times on SM website and they were defective (that was back in nov 2020, but the fit was much more comfortable than the current pair from Zappos. I had tried ordering it in another website and I received the incorrect sizing. This time on Zappos, they were defective again. the front shaft (I guess would be considered the tongue of a regular sneaker) is not sewn straight. It’s slanted so one side is higher than the other. The arch is also at a extremely weird part of the foot so they are pretty uncomfortable. For the price SM is pretty disappointing. But I guess that’s what I get for giving it another try and getting a dupe pair of shoes.

I had been looking for a pair of black chunky boots and these are exactly what I wanted! I’m short and petite so I didn’t want boots that would look too big on me but these are perfect and so cute and comfy!

Just received these- they look fantastic. I also did not realize the strap with gems is removable so if you are going for a less glam more utilitarian look you can have that too! The arch is kind of strange but the platform and heel are not too high- hopefully not uncomfortable with long wear. I don’t usually write reviews but I was extremely pleased with the way these look- totally on point.

I’m always a size 9. These are much to narrow when my width has always been B. They are very snug though this is my normal size and width. They rub my ankles and are not a flexible material like a leather. Wearing a very thin sock does not help. Wish I could get correct size! The style is beautiful!

These are such cute boots! I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8 medium. (Usually in a lower heel shoe like this one, I wear a 7 1/2.) I ordered these in a 7 1/2 and 8. The 7 1/2 was SO narrow and tight. But, the 8 was huge–my foot just slopped around in it. Also, the 7 1/2 pair seemed to have one shoe larger than the other. So, I ordered in another 7/12, thinking the first pair was just weirdly sized. The second pair was also narrow and small. I was then going to keep the size 8, and just wear a heavy sock, or maybe add padded insole because the foot bed of these shoes are hard and have some weirdly placed bumps. Then, I noticed that the elastic gussets on both sides of one shoe was stretched and a thread of elastic coming out, and one of the gussets on the other shoe was the same. So I ended up returning them. Now I am trying to decide if i want to reorder another size 8. They are so cute, but for the money, they are not real leather, the sizing is strange, and they are not comfortable! Will I go for fashion or function?!!
